We held an open Board Meeting at Agenda with nine of our fourteen IASC Board Members in attendance. The aptly named ‘Beers with the Board’ brought in a good crowd, as Jeff Harbaugh pointed out, “they had a keg so what would you expect.”
 
Along with outlining IASC’s 2013 events and initiatives, we proudly unveiled our partnership with Aflac and the ability to offer IASC members Aflac Accident Insurance at a substantial discount with no pre-existing condition exclusions. It’s not health insurance, but it’s a great stop-gap for all the companies wanting to take care of their 1099 employees in case they get hurt.
